I am a Research Director of INFN Sezione di Catania

I work on low and intermediate energy reactions between heavy ions

My main activity is with the CHIMERA detector at LNS

I did experiments also in many others international laboratories:

LNL - Saclay - Ganil - Louvain La Neuve, and now at GSI.

I am national responsible of the NEWCHIM experiment

financed by the III Commission  of INFN

I am member of the program advisory commettee (PAC) of LNL

  I am coordinator of the III group of INFN Sezione di Catania
